The Somali pirates had seized the chemical tanker Samho Jewelry and therefore the Soth Korean government sent a destroyer and Naval commandos to retrieve it and rescu the crew.
On January 21st, 2011 the commandos retook the ship neutralizing the Somali pirates, armed with AK-47 and RPG. A Westland Super Lynx helicopter supported the action.
